FEEDBACK FROM PARENTS AND TEENS
We met some of the participants of The Walks (and their parents) about a year ago. Over this past year, we've seen how timely and incredibly important this project has become for most of them. To find a foothold when your world is turned upside down in just a matter of days. To meet friends you thought you had lost. This is just the tip of the iceber

You guys are amazing. I don't know where we would be with my kids if it weren't for you. You literally saved us, lit a spark in their eyes, and gave meaning to my children's time in Israel. M. and A. had a very tough reaction to the sudden repatriation, and your project is a true miracle!

Finding a job in your field in a new country without knowing the language can be really tough
But we believe that when you do what you're good at, you bring the most value.
WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED
Since 2022, we’ve grown from a small project in Jerusalem to an international community. Check out our timeline for a detailed look at our milestones

"I’ve always been drawn to spaces where open, free-spirited people come together, like Kavadak, Total Improvisations, and the New School. The Walks have become another place where I truly belong, meeting wonderful people and gathering positive experiences. Thank you for the warm atmosphere, freedom of expression, and the comfortable space."

"When I arrived in Israel last March, unsure of how to connect, things fell into place—my first Walk in Tel Aviv, meeting Max and the team, and the walk to Lifta. I met great people, discovered new places, and learned a lot about Israel. The support from The Walks during exams meant a lot."

“This is an incredibly necessary and important project! My daughter has been joining The Walks in Tel Aviv since August 2022, and it literally pulled her out of severe stress. Thank you to everyone involved."
